Plum Orchard Vineyard

Plum Orchard is our only vineyard in the Templeton Gap appellation of Paso Robles. A rare deposit of decomposed sandstone is what sets this vineyard apart. With water and nutrients leeching quickly through these sandy soils the vines produce wines of incredible elegance with unexpected power. Usually lighter in color than our other wines, these grapes have huge, lifted aromatics and ripe fruits backed by a clean acidity and plenty of spice. It is farmed 100% organically by longtime local vintner Neil Roberts. We grow Grenache, Mataro, Grenache Blanc, Roussanne, Viognier, and Picpoul here. This is the sole source for our Plum Orchard Grenache.
